Ashley’s Bridal | Prospect House Bridal

September 28, 2015

I photographed Ashley’s bridal a couple of weeks ago and Eric with Prospect House let us use his brand new venue out in Dripping Springs. Ashley and I were both thrilled to get to shoot out there and it was particularly great because it started to rain right when we got there. Prospect House has both indoor and outdoor options that are beautiful and open so it wasn’t a problem to shoot out there. Also, Ashley looked so gorgeous in her dress and was laid back about it all so it was easy to shoot this light and airy session. _ I photographed Ashley’s wedding this past weekend and I’ve been dying to post her session. Ashley and Travis, I loved working with you!!

Kim and Brian are having a baby!

September 26, 2015

I photographed Kim and Brian’s wedding five years ago and I’ve had the thrill of getting to know Kim more as both my Body Pump instructor at Golds and my CPA with Meck/Noonan. I absolutely love her and can’t decide if she looked prettier as a bride or now as a mom. Having her in the studio to shoot her maternity was so much fun and we added a rose wreath with her dark hair for a more fine art look. It was also fun to catch up with Brian during the outdoor session. He’s so excited and I know they’ll make GREAT parents.simple-smile-7054915

Client Review from The Knot

September 16, 2015

My recent client, Stephanie, left a review about her wedding photography experience with me and I couldn’t be more happy and humbled. She was a dream client with great ideas as to how she wanted to be photographed and then she trusted me to bring it out. I loved working with her and just the fact that she took the time to write the review means more than words can say.

Pam was an absolutely INCREDIBLE photographer. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she was in making our wedding photos exactly what we wanted. I had a very specific “vogue” style I wanted for my bridal portraits, and she was so helpful in creating a visual board for me before the shoot. She also hit the nail on the head during the shoot, and made it so easy for me to follow her creative thinking. We used the location in ways I would have never imagined and the pictures turned out unbelievable!! For our wedding, I can’t begin to describe how well she captured the emotions of the whole event. You can truly tell what everyone was feeling during each segment of the evening. She did a fabulous job capturing candid photos, as well as staged, all the while being in the background so we never even knew she was there. Our pictures are breathtaking and I am forever grateful we have them to remember our special day. Pam was so thoughtful and easy to work with. She knows how to direct a crowd, and a bride and groom to get amazing photos in efficient ways. I would use her again for absolutely any photo needs I have again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

El Salvador Trip for Medical Mission Trip Published!

September 16, 2015

I started my photography career as a photojournalist out of college and I’ve always been drawn to telling a story in pictures. I was thrilled to be asked to accompany the non-profit organization Austin Smiles on their El Salvador trip to repair cleft lip and palates for children born in a country where medical care is scarce. I brought my teenage son with me to experience being around people who have purpose and passion for what they do. The medical staff is comprised of some of the best drs/nurses/speech therapists in Texas and it was an honor to get to photograph their mission. The icing on the cake was having Austin Monthly give us 10 pages filled with my work and their words in black and white. I truly got back way more than I gave and I can’t wait to go back.

Sara and Robert had a beautiful Lost Pines Hyatt wedding out in Bastrop, Texas a few weeks ago and it’s one of my very favorite “destination” wedding spots around the Austin area. I have done stay-cations there in the past and I was thrilled to hear Sara and Robert were getting married there. — Sara was so gorgeous in her wedding dress and the response from her bridesmaids when she walked out is one of my all time favorite reactions. It was hard to just pick three. Robert was beyond blown away when he saw her walk down the aisle and his big smiles towards her were just adorable. I loved it all!

Claire and Aimee with Clink were the event planners for Sara and they always take it over the top.
Merveille Floral did the gorgeous flowers/bouquets.
Simon Lee created the delicious cakes.
Marquee Rentals and Whim Events did the beautiful rentals.
Ice House was the great band where literally EVERYONE danced.

Sara and Robert, I wish you both the very best!!
