Kate and Greg had a gorgeous Vintage Villas lakeside wedding this past weekend that was such a sweet celebration with family and friends. Greg’s mom couldn’t be there so she was live on an iPad and Kate’s dapper 91 year old dad was there from start to finish.
Vintage Villas is the perfect venue for a small wedding because it creates such an intimate atmosphere. The outside patio overlooks the lake and is a prime spot for watching the sunset. Kate and Greg’s guests spent the evening sitting on the couches and relaxing which is my definition of the perfect laid back Texas wedding.
Kate’s GORGEOUS orange color highlighted everything from her bouquet to the ribbons on the flower girl’s dresses. Against the green backdrop, it really stood out and was a great contrast to Kate’s white dress and Greg’s white suit. Speaking of white suit, I think everyone should wear one for a summer wedding. The men can breath and it looks fantastic in pictures.
Kate and Greg’s portraits were so easy to shoot. They just looked at one another and smiled. When Greg laid his head on the top of Kate’s head during the portraits, I thought there’s nothing I could suggest that would be better than that quick moment. I loved it all!
Kate and Greg, I wish you both the very best!!
